NEW FEATURES – Company Availability, Bookmarks Summary View, and Uploads

Posted on September 19, 2022 By Dave

TeamGantt has seen a lot this year, and we haven’t been sharing all the good news. Today we’re going to catch up with you on the highlights. We’ve just released some amazing new resource management features in our gantt charts software that we think you’ll love.
Company Availability View
Many of you have asked us if there was a way for a Manager or PM to see the status of everyone within the company, without having to be invited on every project in the account. We didn’t know there was a Company Availability view at the time. But we listened to you and created it. The Company Availability view displays Account Holders and their workload across all projects.
This view can be accessed by clicking on the Company Availability link in TeamGantt’s Dashboard.
Keep an eye out to see a detailed video walkthrough of the feature. Here’s what it looks. Click the image to see a larger version
Bookmarks
Do you have a favorite view or project? You can now save this bookmark to your dashboard to make it easy to find. This is a great way to create multiple custom views of a project so you can quickly access them.
Simply click on your profile picture within the TeamGantt window to create a bookmark and then select ‘Bookmark Page.
Once you have created your bookmarks, they will appear in your dashboard. You can have as many bookmarks you want.
Summary View
A Summary view gives you a complete overview of your entire project. The new Summary view gives you a complete overview of your project, including the total number of tasks, the number of tasks in process and overdue, the number of people invited to the project, the ability to invite additional users, the most recent conversations, documents, and the most recent progress updates. You can create new conversations, upload documents, and undo changes from one place. This is a favorite feature that TeamGantt uses all the time.
Upload files to comments
Finally, you can upload files and documents directly to comments instead of tasks and projects. Each comment can have its own file, making it easier to keep files where they are needed within your projects.
This is it for now. But rest assured, we are already hard at work on a whole bunch of updates to make your job as PM easier and more efficient.
The easiest way to create a project plan
In just 10 minutes, you can create a beautiful project plan. You can switch between gantt and calendar views with a single click.
