Na Aina Kai
Na Aina Kai Tropical Botanical Garden located on the north east side of the island, offers a unique wedding location. The teak forrest, bamboo walkway, ocean bluff, and the secluded beach make for some diverse photography options. This location can accommodate everything from simple elopements to event style weddings.
Keoniloa Bay (Shipwrecks Beach)Located on the south side of the island fronting the Grand Hyatt Resort. It’s the most popular wedding location on Kauai. The beach is easily accessible with a fair amount of public parking.
Wanini Beach (Anini Beach)Located just south of Princeville on the northshore. With several small nooks along the beach, Wanini is ideal for an intimate ceremony.
Hanalei BayLocated on the North Shore, Hanalei Bay is a famous surfing area. The wide sandy beach and ample parking make it a good choice for larger weddings.
On April 14th 2018 a flash flood struck the island of Kauai. The North Shore recorded nearly 50” of rain in a 24 hour period, damaging sections of the road past Hanalei.Access to the North Shore past Hanalei is restricted due to road construction. The estimated time of completion is now pushed back to late 2019. No wedding permits will be available until the road reopens.
Makua Beach (Tunnels Beach)Located on the northshore, Makua Beach is a tropical postcard setting. The mountain range dramatically frames the area with steep rocky cliffs and seasonal waterfalls.
Ke’e BeachLocated at the end of the road on the North Shore, Ke’e is the beginning of the rugged Na Pali Coast.The sunset can be viewed year-round from Ke’e.
