My name is Kelehua Kawai, a wedding officiant / celebrant based on the beautiful island of Oʻahu in the State of Hawaii. With a deep respect for love in all its forms and a passion for creating meaningful ceremonies, I am honored to help couples begin their journey together in paradise.
Whether you dream of an intimate barefoot beach elopement, a large celebration at one of Oahu’s incredible wedding venues, a traditional Hawaiian blessing, a Christian/spiritual ceremony, or a custom ceremony reflecting your unique story, culture and values, I will work closely with you to bring your vision to life. Special elements to consider for your ceremony are a lei blessing and exchange, ring blessing, sand ceremony, butterfly release, 'ukulele music and more!
I offer a calm, joyful presence, professional guidance, and heartfelt words that resonate long after the vows are spoken.

Kelehua has been the perfect picture of kindness, flexibility, joy, and patience from the day I met her at a marriage conference in August of 2024 to the day she officiated our beach ceremony in June of 2025. She signed our marriage license for us in September of 2024. She patiently and kindly encouraged us as we navigated our journey to getting to have our ceremony as it was a long windy road of having to push back our ceremony date multiple times due to military reasons. In June of 2025 she led us through the most magical sunset beachside ceremony. It was easy, flowed perfectly, and as smooth sailing as can be after such a bumpy ride to get there. I highly recommend her to make your day as simple and special as possible. Musician Henry Makua is a fantastic ukelele player. He sets the tone and makes the atmosphere during your ceremony one to remember!

We are speechless over yesterday's ceremony. That was the most incredible moment of our lives and undoubtedly made special because of you and Henry. I was so glad I had Kelehua to help guide me though this process. When I first reached out to her, I knew instantly I wanted to work with her. From the start, she communicated quite literally everything I would need to know about the process, and was very responsive even with the time difference. Our families LOVED the way she performed our ceremony, and we thought it was so special with the sayings and the way she guided the ceremony. She was absolutely amazing!
